Ganeshji, the destroyer of all kinds of obstacles, has been created by the sculptor Sridhar as a doctor and nurse. His statue shows how Ganapati himself is serving patients with his own hands. Through this, Sridhar is presenting doctors as the God of the earth.

Idol makers in Raipur have made eco-friendly Ganesha idols. Idol maker said we usually use paper, husk, grains, & shells. This year we’ve made idols with herbs in view of #COVID. Earlier, I used to sell 40 idols, this year I’ve made only 25 as demand is low.”
