A 23 year old man named Rahul resident of Jawahar Camp of Kirti Nagar lynched by a Muslim Group. The four men identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, his brother Shiraj Ahmed, Anish and Ishtihar (all residents of Loha Mandi). They Tied him with the tree and beaten him with iron rod, all of them fled the crime scene after the condition of the victim deteriorated.
In the morning, police control room received the call about the person lying under a tree with injuries at a municipal park at loha mandi.
A team from the Naraina police station reached there and took him to the hospital where he declared dead.
Eyewitness Shesh Kumar tolf the police that he seen his four neighbours assualting the victim and taking him to the park. They tied him with the tree and beat him up with sticks and rods. Kumar Asked them to release the person but they did not give any response to his request and told the man had stolen a mobile phone from his truck and his associates run away.
The suspects were soon arrested. They said Rahul and his associates had stolen Shiraj’s cellphone from his truck.
