Realme Buds Q2 was launched in India on 24 June. These earbuds are part of Realme’s Affordable to wireless earbuds collection. As a premium feature, this device supports Active noise cancellation.
Design & Build Quality:
Realme Buds Q2 has a cobblestone design. It is easy to carry due to its lightweight and small design. Here the charging case has the branding of Realme on the top and an LED indicator has been given in the front. The charging case has a USB Type-C port. Talking about the buds, they are also lightweight and their fitting comes better inside the ears. Users can also use the ear tips provided with the box for better fitting.
Ease of Life & Colors:
There is no pain even after using these buds for a long time. Glossy touch surface is also given in the rear of the buds. Touch function also works smoothly. It is IPX5 certified for water resistance. Overall, this product has a great design and build quality for its price. It has been introduced in two color options
Bluetooth 5.2 has been supported here for connectivity. There is also support for instant pairing. Connectivity remains stable. There is no problem in this. Also, AAC and SBC audio codecs are supports here. There is also a feature of low-latency mode for gamers. However, we did not find it as effective. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is also supported in this device and it works well for its price.
Talking about calls, here the feature of dual mic noise cancellation has been given for calls. However, calls are not work well in crowded places. So, it cannot be considered very good in such an environment. 10mm Base Boost drivers have been given in Realme Buds Q2 and you will be surprised to know that the quality of this device is also very good. That is, the mids and highs are not that crisp, but the overall audio quality is quite good.
The most important thing is that the support of Reality Link app is also available with this affordable audio device. In such a situation, the sound can be changed to Bass Boost, Dynamic and Bright. Similarly, noise control can be set. Also the touch controls can be customized through the app. Many more similar features can be customized through the app.
Lastly, talking about the battery, the company claims that it can be run for 5 hours in ANC on and we have run it for more than 4 hours with AAC and ANC on and about 80 percent volume. That is, the company’s claim is true.
Review Summary:
The price of Realme Buds Q2 is Rs 2,499 and for this the device offers ANC support, Realme Link app support, compact body, good audio quality, long battery and touch controls. Usually this price is not available in the market. That is, from our understanding, money can be easily invested in it. Not much better only for calling and even professional audio lovers might not like it. But, overall this product is very good.
