Sky turned Red Like ‘blood’ in Indonesia, photo viral on social media

In Indonesia, after a ‘blood red sky’ (red sky like blood) pictures and videos went viral on social media, panic has spread among the people. This phenomenon occurred due to sunlight on the smoke particles in the air.

Let us tell you that forest fires are not new in Indonesia, often due to slash-and-burn farming practices. This situation has been exacerbated by the unusual winds El-Niño which carry warm surface water from the equator to the east and Central America.

Sumatra, a resident of Jambi province who saw the red sky, said the haze “hurt his eyes and throat”. People are discussing this unusual incident on social media as ‘blood red sky’. The sky here looks like Mars.
