Vo Baat un ko Bahut Na-Gavar Guzri Hai.
Kyu Darein Zindagi Mein Kya Hoga,
Kuch Na Hoga toh Tajurba Hoga.
Dil Ҝe Rishte Haɱesha Ҝisɱat Se Hi bante Hain¸
Varna ɱulaqaat to Roz hazaron Se Hoti Hai
dekhā hai zindagī ko kuchh itne qarīb se
chehre tamām lagne lage haiñ ajiib se
Agar Sach Itna Zalim hai to ham se Jhuut hi bolo,
Hamen aata hai pathjhad ke dinon gul-bahar ho jaana
Hazaar baar zamana idhar se guzra hai,
Nayi nayi si hai kuch teri rehguzar phir bhi
na ham-safar na kisī ham-nashīñ se niklegā
hamāre paañv kā kāñTā hamīñ se niklegā
ujāle apnī yādoñ ke hamāre saath rahne do
na jaane kis galī meñ zindagī kī shaam ho jaa.e
ab sochte haiñ lā.eñge tujh sā kahāñ se ham
uThne ko uTh to aa.e tire āstāñ se ham
hosh vāloñ ko ḳhabar kyā be-ḳhudī kyā chiiz hai
ishq kiije phir samajhiye zindagī kyā chiiz hai
Ham aah bhī karte haiñ to ho jaate haiñ badnām
vo qatl bhī karte haiñ to charchā nahīñ hotā
Khudi ko Kar Buland Itna, Itna ki Har Taqdeer se Phle,
Khuda bande se Khud Pooche, Bata Teri Raza Kya Hai.
bas ik jhijak hai yahī hāl-e-dil sunāne meñ
ki terā zikr bhī aa.egā is fasāne meñ
Patta patta, boota boota, haal hamaaraa jaane hai,
Jaane na jaane gul hi na jaane, baagh to saaraa jaane hai.
kahte kahte kuchh badal detā hai kyuuñ bātoñ kā ruḳh
kyuuñ ḳhud apne-āp ke bhī saath vo sachchā nahīñ
apne chehre se jo zāhir hai chhupā.eñ kaise
terī marzī ke mutābiq nazar aa.eñ kaise
aap ke ba.ad har ghaḌī ham ne
